Online personal meetings will also be available before the fair. During these meetings, you will be able to speak directly with admissions representatives over small group sessions over Zoom. Once you register for personal meetings, our selections team will review your profile and reach out to match you with the schools and programs that best suit your professional ambitions and goals.

Everyone using the meeting space where the event is being held must prove they’ve had at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. On arrival, you will be directed to the third floor of the hotel to the vaccine checkpoint. You’ll be asked for proof of vaccination along with a matching photo ID. Without proof of at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, you will not be permitted to enter the meeting space.
Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel. Unfortunately, you cannot enter the meeting space where the in-person section of the event is being held without proof of at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Both the Excelsior App and the NY COVID Safe app are accepted at the hotel where this event is being held. If you do not have the apps, you can bring your physical vaccination card or a photo of your vaccination card. If you do bring a photo of the vaccination card, it must include a clear photo that shows the full CDC Card, your name and the vaccination/s received. In addition to the proof of vaccine, you will need to present a photo ID that matches the name on the vaccination card and yourself. Please note that this is a mandate from the city of New York, which the hotel must adhere to.
Prior to the event, research the schools that you are scheduled to meet with and learn about their grad school programs by visiting their website. You’ll also want to prepare some relevant and specific questions to ask the admissions representatives related to their respective programs.
Yes, there is a video feature to the meetings which will allow both you and the school representative to see each other.
Though not required, we recommend that you dress professionally in business casual attire. Your goal is to make a good first impression to the admissions representatives that you’ll meet with.
Each Zoom meeting will last approximately 25 minutes.
