NTU offer a range of competitive scholarships for international and EU students who hold offers to study at NTU. Our NTU Excellence Scholarships are worth 50% or 25% off your tuition fees. These are awarded to undergraduate and postgraduate students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. We also offer scholarships to encourage students from specific countries worth up to £5,000 per year.

Alongside the tuition fee discount our scholarship scheme also offers many other benefits. Students will gain formal recognition of their achievements, join a community for networking and socialising and have access to opportunities for volunteering and work experience.

NTU also offers a number of scholarship awards each year to high-performing student athletes from a range of different sports for undergraduate and postgraduate study. Each award is tailored to the needs of the athlete to ensure that everything is put in place to help them to achieve both academic and sporting success. NTU Music also offer scholarships to high performing students which provides the opportunity to develop your vocal or instrumental skills with one of our expert tutors, alongside your academic studies.

Students are required to apply for any NTU scholarships using an application form and should check online for specific closing dates.

Other scholarships in conjunction with external bodies are also available. NTU participates in funding schemes with Chevening, Commonwealth and our pathway partner NTIC among others. Other Global Study Awards to support study in the UK could also be utilised by students looking to attend NTU and international students should explore all avenues of potential funding. Applications for these scheme are usually through external websites.

What are the QS ImpACT Scholarships?

In a landmark partnership, the QS Scholarships platform merged with ImpACT charity organization in 2020, culminating in a synergy of resources that now manifests as QS ImpACT Scholarships.

What is the difference between institution-funded and QS ImpACT scholarships?

Institution-funded scholarships are exclusively backed by the institution itself. This implies that scholarship recipients need to secure acceptance for their studies at the said institution in order to qualify. It's essential to note that each scholarship comes with its own set of eligibility criteria and prerequisites. On the other hand, QS ImpACT Scholarships mark a collaborative effort between the ImpACT charity organization and QS. These scholarships present a unique advantage – they allow candidates to be considered regardless of the institution they choose for their studies, as long as they meet the appropriate study-level requirements. To delve deeper into the eligibility criteria associated with these scholarships, we invite you to explore the relevant scholarship details.

What does an exclusive scholarship mean?

An exclusive scholarship means that the scholarship is not advertised or available anywhere else but on our platform. To be eligible for these scholarships, you must attend one of our recruitment events (Discover Master's, Discover MBA, Connect Masters, Connect MBA, STEM) as they are exclusively available for event attendees.
