2) PhD by Research (100% tuition fee waiver)
- Criteria: CGPA ≥ 3.5 or Merit (or equivalent) from Postgraduate (Master)
The student must have successfully completed their proposal defense, have received ethics approval and be able to demonstrate that data collection has commenced by the end of year 1 to continue the scholarship funding for year 2.

This implies that scholarship recipients need to secure acceptance for their studies at the said institution in order to qualify. It's essential to note that each scholarship comes with its own set of eligibility criteria and prerequisites. On the other hand, QS ImpACT Scholarships mark a collaborative effort between the ImpACT charity organization and QS. These scholarships present a unique advantage – they allow candidates to be considered regardless of the institution they choose for their studies, as long as they meet the appropriate study-level requirements.
