As part of our commitment to enhancing the global reach of Birkbeck, we are announcing our Global Future Scholarship to support access to postgraduate Master’s study from several countries. We recognise the importance and value in having a diverse student population from across the world and we’re pleased to present this additional option of financial support. The scholarship will be applied as a discount to the tuition fee for your first year of study, to bring it in line with the Home tuition fee amount for the course. Eligibility: To be eligible you need to meet all of the following conditions: you are ordinarily resident in an EU country or Brazil you are self-funded and are holding a full-time Master's offer of study from us for October 2022 entry and/or January 2023 you are classified as an ‘International’ tuition fee payer. Only one scholarship award can be made per student and the scholarship cannot normally be held in conjunction with any other scholarship.

What are the QS ImpACT Scholarships?

In a landmark partnership, the QS Scholarships platform merged with ImpACT charity organization in 2020, culminating in a synergy of resources that now manifests as QS ImpACT Scholarships.

What is the difference between institution-funded and QS ImpACT scholarships?

Institution-funded scholarships are exclusively backed by the institution itself. This implies that scholarship recipients need to secure acceptance for their studies at the said institution in order to qualify. It's essential to note that each scholarship comes with its own set of eligibility criteria and prerequisites. On the other hand, QS ImpACT Scholarships mark a collaborative effort between the ImpACT charity organization and QS. These scholarships present a unique advantage – they allow candidates to be considered regardless of the institution they choose for their studies, as long as they meet the appropriate study-level requirements. To delve deeper into the eligibility criteria associated with these scholarships, we invite you to explore the relevant scholarship details.

What does an exclusive scholarship mean?

An exclusive scholarship means that the scholarship is not advertised or available anywhere else but on our platform. To be eligible for these scholarships, you must attend one of our recruitment events (Discover Master's, Discover MBA, Connect Masters, Connect MBA, STEM) as they are exclusively available for event attendees.
