At St. Matthew's University School of Medicine, founded in 1997, we offer students a medical degree education that is completely focused on their success inside and outside the classroom. Our graduates continuously achieve scholastic success and have gone on to earn top residencies around the world including at McGill University, Johns Hopkins University and Duke University. 

Our campus is located in the Cayman Islands and offers everything students need to be supported in all aspects of their medical education such as small class sizes, talented faculty and access to excellent clinical sites in the US and Canada.

What is unique about our programme is that these courses are integrated with the Cayman Islands' world-class healthcare system. The courses offer students access to hospitals and community clinic experience and hospital-based research.

Our goal is to prepare our veterinary medical graduates to be competent and caring veterinarians. We aim to give our students the skills to incorporate the latest knowledge and methods into their practice as either a generalist or a specialist and to adapt to a changing professional environment.
