Design your M.S. in professional accounting (MSA) experience at the Whitman School. The Joseph I. Lubin School of Accounting offers an MSA program that pairs a comprehensive curriculum with real-world experience to produce confident and competent practicing accountants, consultants and managers.Our program accommodates students with an undergraduate accounting degree, as well as those with an undergraduate degree in another academic area who may need to take additional courses.
Utilizing an action- oriented approach, the STEM-designated Whitman School M.S. in business analytics is designed to prepare you with the skills to become a data-driven business leader and decision maker. Business analytics, which combines statistics, information technology and business coursework to assist in business decision making, differs from data science, which focuses more on the technical aspects and includes computer programming.
Our 30-credit M.S. in entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises (EEE) program provides immersion in a rigorous curriculum and relevant practical experience to give you the preparation and confidence to navigate your own path to entrepreneurial success. Our program is designed for students with a passion for entrepreneurship in any industry or type of business.
The Whitman School’s STEM-designated M.S. in finance program is flexibly designed to prepare you for success during your time of study and throughout your career. In this program you can specialize in corporate finance, investments or real estate. In addition, the program has many benefits, including access to current market data, live newsfeeds, software for analysis and other resources used by professionals in the field, including 11 Bloomberg Terminals.
The STEM-designated M.S. in marketing (MSM) degree program focuses on rigorous development of the competencies to prepare current and aspiring marketing professionals to play leading roles in the field of marketing. The program consists of business foundation courses, required marketing core courses, selective courses and electives, for a total of 30 credits.
Our full-time MBA is a 54-credit-hour program with 36 core course credits and 18 elective credits completed over a span of two years. You can specialize in up to two of seven concentrations: Accounting, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises, Finance, Marketing Management, Real Estate, Supply Chain Management.
The global curriculum of the STEM-designated M.S. in SCM combines classroom and experiential learning to help students build a solid knowledge base, while developing strategic thinking skills. All admitted students are automatically considered for merit based scholarship. The average scholarship for MS students is 20%, while MBA students receive about 40%. Scholarships for the MBA program can be awarded up to a full-tuition scholarship for highly competitive candidates. The Whitman School of Management also offers a variety of sponsored and endowed awards that support diversity and inclusion. A few examples of awards include: Louis & Martin Whitman Graduate Scholarship; National Black MBA Association Award and Orange Excellence Award in Supply Chain Management.
