Funding Your Master's Courses

Tuition Fee

Tuition fees vary depending on your programme and whether you are a UK or International student. 


Fees are payable in two instalments: 50% on enrolment and 50% at the start of the second term of your studies. However, if you are receiving the Master’s Loan, you can also pay your fees in three instalments during the year to match when you receive instalments of the loan.

Master's scholarships

The University of Reading has allocated £200,000 in partial scholarships for students commencing their master’s degree studies in the 2021/22 academic year. The value of awards is as follows:

UK/Republic of Ireland students – £2,000 each
International students – £4,000 each

 

Applications are open now and will close on 20 July 2021.

Subjects scholarships

The University of Reading is offering partial scholarships for students planning to study specific master’s programmes in the 2021/22 academic year. The value of awards is as follows:

• UK/Republic of Ireland students – £2,000 each
• International students – £4,000 each

The first deadline for applications is 1 March and the second deadline is 15 June. Students may apply for a Subject Scholarship as well as a General Scholarship. Terms and conditions apply.
