The Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE) at the University of Reading is an outstanding example of a global education experience, attracting a wide range and diversity of students from more than 40 countries.

You will be taught by internationally renowned academics working at the forefront of research, practice and policy development, with expertise spanning agriculture and economics, horticulture, food, marketing, rural environments and international development. Master's  programmes

International Development:
we offer six International Development programmes, covering a diverse range of topics that include applied development, agriculture, climate change, communication, environmental change and food security.

Applied Economics and Marketing:
our Applied Economics and Marketing programmes span agricultural economics, development finance, consumer behaviour and food economics and marketing.

Agriculture:
there are two agriculture options for postgraduate study. We have a master's by research that covers agriculture, ecology and the environment, and an online postgraduate certificate in animal science.

Scholarships

The GIIDAE offers an extensive range of scholarships to international students, as well as centrally funded partial scholarship opportunities.
