Our range of master’s programmes will provide you with essential training need to work within the food sector:
MSc Food Science: Build on your scientific undergraduate studies to gain an in-depth knowledge of the science of food. With topics including, food chemistry, food quality and safety, and the manufacturing and processing of food.
MSc Food Technology - Quality Assurance: Learn to apply and maintain advanced food quality assurance systems that meet both UK and international expectations.
MSc Nutrition and Food Science: accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN), the independent regulator for Registered Nutritionists. Your studies will explore the scientific aspects of food and nutrition and assess the wider implications of diet on health and wellbeing.
MSc Food Systems: Part of a collaboration with EiT Food. Study at Reading and two other prestigious universities in Europe. This is a two-year master's programme that aims to promote a deep knowledge of the food system as an integrated value chain.
MSc Sustainable Food Quality for Health – ONLINE: This unique course is specifically targeted at professionals currently working in the food and agricultural industries and can be taken as individual modules.
